Protein Chemistry
Protein chemistry has been one of my main fields of endeavour since the very beginning of my career.
My definition of "protein chemistry" is: --- "the set of techniques, methods and skills to be put at work in order to be able to efficiently look at a protein at a later analytical step".
As I have briefly described in the Mass spectrometry page, my own very first experience with mass spectrometry has pretty quickly led me to grasp the importance of the sample preparation step during the elaboration of an analytical strategy. Be it a preparation of protein sample or anything else.m
